Event Update For 2017-08-05

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  2. Also, if you have never watched the movie 'The Bay' from 2012, it's worth a watch. It's a fictional story about an environmental disaster at some town on the East Coast, where hormone-laden chicken poop gets into the water and contaminates the nearby bay and turns some sea creatures into flesh-eating monsters. It's very plausible, and told documentary-style, and seems quite similar to this sea lice attack.

The environment must be changing in ways that favor these sea lice. Maybe whatever eats the sea lice has died off, so their population is exploding, or maybe there's a lot of dead fish in the water there, which would attract sea lice. Whatever the reason, this seems like one of those things where if we see it happen once, it's gonna happen again and again. If people's skin starts getting eaten off regularly at beaches in Australia (or anywhere else, for that matter), that might have some impact on tourism.

    https://www.sott.net/article/358564-EF2-tornado-that-ripped-through-Tulsa-Oklahoma-injuring-30-was-unusual-in-2-ways

Sunday's storm was unusual in two ways: It developed in August, after Oklahoma's spring tornado season, and it developed rapidly out of what appeared Saturday evening to be a "garden variety" thunderstorm, said Roger Jolliff, Tulsa Area Emergency Management director said.

Since 1950, there had only been two previous tornadoes in August in Tulsa County, according to National Weather Service statistics. The first was an F1 in 1955, the second was an F2 in 1958. Sunday's marks the third. [more]

In Kuwait temperature reaches 62 degrees
    http://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2017/08/144f-in-kuwait-burns-bushes-and-trees.html

In Kuwait, the air temperature in some places reached 62 degrees Celsius in an open area where there is no shadow.

Users of social networks share videos of burning trees, bushes, and also note that because of the heat, gasoline in the car tanks exploded.

Kuwait just owns a world record for temperature indicators - in the town of Mithribach in the north-west of the country on July 21, 2016, the highest temperature in the history of meteorological observations on our planet was recorded. The heat in the shade here reached plus 54 degrees Celsius. [more; ~1 min. video]

The Idiocracy Is About To Be Repealed
    http://ponziworld.blogspot.com/2017/08/the-idiocracy-is-about-to-be-repealed.html

Missing in Action from all of the heated debate about Obamacare repeal is the inconvenient fact that the health insurance cartel's profits, soared by +30% during the second quarter. Apologists will say this is due to less exposure to the Obamacare exchanges - of course it is, that's the point, these companies specialize in skimming the cream off of the healthcare market, leaving the pre-existing conditions to the public system. That is the fundamental flaw in the U.S. system. Coupled with the fact that fewer and fewer U.S. companies are providing health insurance as a benefit, it's a recipe for total system collapse. Take From The Poor, Give To The Rich
    http://ponziworld.blogspot.com/2017/08/dead-market-walking-indeed.html

Herein lies the problem, by engineering fake reflation via asset price levitation, global Central Banks have driven a chasmic disconnect between asset values and economic reality. They tried this already in the period 2009-2011, and that crash was vertical since the rotation from cyclicals is always back to bonds. Once cyclicals become overbought, and every other sector is played out, there is nowhere else to go.

What was once considered a recession is now considered peak recovery.  [more]

  6. Was just reading about sea lice. Those things are ancient, from the Cambrian period 480+ million years ago. Not as old as jellyfish, but much older than the Permian-Triassic extinction, which means sea lice survived the 'Great Dying', so they're the kind of life you'd expect to do okay in a repeat of the Permian-Triassic. There will be a few winners and a great many losers in terms of which species survive and which go extinct. Looks like sea lice may be one of the few winners, so I bet we do see more attacks like this one in Australia.

Darren Daulton was one of many ex-Phillies to die of brain cancer
    https://www.yahoo.com/sports/darren-daulton-one-many-ex-123035885.html

The announcement that former Phillies catcher Darren Daulton died of brain cancer yesterday was certainly sad news. Also sad: he was not the first former Phillies player to do so. In addition to Daulton, Tug McGraw, John Vukovich, Ken Brett and Johnny Oates all succumbed to it.

This is not the only cancer cluster discussed in baseball circles. Several years ago former Royals pitcher Bob Tufts noted that he and several other ex-Royals had been diagnosed with or died of cancer as well. In addition to Tufts, Paul Splittoroff, Dick Howser and Dan Quisenberry died from various forms of the disease after spending time in K.C.. Again, anecdotal. Baseball’s most common cancer threat: skin cancer. [more; this is suspicious - maybe something about stadiums, weed killer used on the grass, something ain't right]
